Ingredients

2 pounds pork shoulder

¼ cup soy sauce

¼ cup hoisin sauce

½ cup chicken broth

2 tablespoons brown sugar

2 teaspoons sesame oil

1 teaspoon ginger, minced

3 cloves garlic, minced

3 cups shredded cabbage

1 tablespoon rice vinegar

½ teaspoon salt

12 corn tortillas

2 tablespoons cilantro, chopped

Directions

1.

Place the pork shoulder in the slow cooker, adding soy sauce, hoisin sauce, chicken broth, brown sugar, sesame oil, ginger, and garlic on top.

2.

Cover and cook on low for about 8 hours, or until the pork is fully tender and easily shredded with forks.

3.

While the pork is cooking, prepare the cabbage slaw by mixing shredded cabbage, rice vinegar, and salt in a bowl; set aside in the refrigerator.

4.

Once the pork is cooked, remove it from the slow cooker and shred it using two forks, discarding any excess fat.

5.

Heat the corn tortillas in a skillet or microwave until warm and pliable, ensuring they don't break when folded.

6.

Assemble the tacos by placing a portion of the shredded pork onto each tortilla, followed by cabbage slaw and chopped cilantro.
