How are rollercoasters like gossip?

They keep everyone in the loop.

Did You Know?

"In the loop" means being kept informed, and rollercoasters literally have loops that carry riders round and round — just like gossip circulates round a group. Fun fact: the first looping coaster, the Flip Flap Railway, opened in 1895 in Coney Island, though its perfectly circular loop caused so much neck strain it was replaced by teardrop-shaped loops still used today.
