Why did the pineapple win Miss Congeniality?

It was surprisingly sweet once you got past the spikes.

Did You Know?

The joke plays on the double meaning of "sweet" — both the taste of pineapple and a kind personality! Despite their prickly armor, pineapples are actually a cluster of dozens of individual berries fused together. The crown of leaves on top can be planted to grow a whole new pineapple, though it takes about 18-24 months to produce fruit.
