A "lifetime membership" lasts as long as you live, and the graveyard's joke is that everyone eventually joins, so no discount is needed! Many cemeteries sell plots in advance, called pre-need purchases. Some of the oldest, like Paris's Père Lachaise, still welcome visitors.
