Ingredients

2 pounds beef chuck roast

2 ½ cups red chili sauce

1 teaspoon ground cumin

½ teaspoon garlic powder

½ teaspoon onion powder

½ teaspoon salt

8 large flour tortillas

1 ½ cups shredded cheese

2 cups refried beans

Directions

1.

Preheat your oven to 325 degrees Fahrenheit and prepare a large baking dish to hold the seasoned beef.

2.

Cut the beef chuck roast into large chunks and place them in the baking dish, ensuring even distribution.

3.

Pour the red chili sauce over the beef, covering all pieces. Add cumin, garlic powder, onion powder, and salt.

4.

Cover the baking dish tightly with foil. Place in the oven and bake for about 3 hours, or until beef is tender.

5.

Remove the dish from the oven and shred the beef using two forks. Mix well with the sauce in the dish.

6.

Warm the flour tortillas in a frying pan over medium heat, so they become soft and pliable for filling.

7.

Spread a generous layer of refried beans on each tortilla. Add a portion of shredded beef and cheese to each.

8.

Roll each tortilla tightly to form burritos, tucking in the sides as you roll to seal in the ingredients.

9.

Optionally, toast the burritos in a skillet for a couple of minutes on each side for a golden, crispy finish.

10.

Serve the burritos warm, garnished with additional cheese, sour cream, or your favorite toppings.
